Of the 6 waterfront homes, there are 3 waterfront Alki condos including an over the water condo at Harbor West. These are all on Beach Dr SW and Alki Ave SW. “On January 19, the Elliott Bay Seawall Project held an open house to share ideas about where the replacement seawall could be located. Take a look at the videos and images below to learn about opportunities and challenges in each zone. Please note that only the introduction video has sound.

Afterward, we’d like to hear from you. Share your thoughts about where the wall should be placed by February 8, 2011. Your comments will help the project team develop alternatives and work toward announcing preferred alternative(s) in April 2011.”

The plans and drawings are quite detailed and cover many different areas along the Seattle waterfront.

Seattle Waterfront Real Estate 2010 Wrap Up: This is for single family (no condos) Seattle Waterfront Homes in the MLS for 2010. Peaks occurred in May, July, and December for closed Seattle waterfront properties. Inventory dropped significantly for the holidays by almost half of what it was in higher months of May through September. There is still a demand for waterfront in Seattle as interest rates stay low. Lake Washington waterfront neighborhoods like Laurelhurst and Madison Park remain in high demand as do North Seattle Neighborhoods like Cedar Park. Other popular Seattle waterfront is Lake Union floating homes, and saltier waters of Magnolia and Alki on the Puget Sound.
